The Washington Post obtained emails showing Thomas pushed two Wisconsin lawmakers to “ensure that a clean slate of Electors is chosen.”
“I certainly hope she’ll do so voluntarily,” Liz Cheney said of Thomas providing testimony. “But the committee is fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena if she does not.”
The House committee had made new request for the Supreme Court justice’s activist wife to appear voluntarily.
The people who are still Jan. 6 deniers aren’t mostly denying that Trump was trying to hold on to power after losing. They’re denying that it was bad.
The committee said they may haul Thomas before the panel after new emails between her and ex-Trump lawyer John Eastman came to light.
