GOP leaders rebuked the “failures and politicization” of the House Jan. 6 committee in a report released Tuesday.
On Sunday, the President-elect said Cheney and other members of the Jan. 6 congressional committee “should go to jail.”
“Honestly, they should go to jail,” he told NBC’s Kristen Welker.
“It made the Republicans angry, and the Democrats just plain scratching their heads in amazement.”
“Donald Trump doesn’t talk like someone who‘s been in Washington for 30 years,” Rubio said as an explanation for Trump’s Liz Cheney firing squad comments.
