Prosecutors have already cleared Asa Ellerup of being involved in the murders.
Rex Heuermann reportedly responded to Keith Jesperson’s correspondence, thanking him for his “letters and advice.”
Asa Ellerup arrived at the courthouse in a Mercedes along with a documentary crew.
And Rex Heuermann’s wife was allegedly in the house when he had escorts over for basement sex sessions.
“I’m allowed up to four hours,” Rex Heuermann told a judge.
Asa Ellerup’s insurance, once covered by her husband, will expire in the next two months, her lawyer said Friday.
Karen Vergata, previously known as “Jane Doe No. 7,” was 34 when she vanished in 1996.
