The comedian-turned-moderator of “The View” shared her story on the red carpet for SNL50.

The annual charity event also included appearances from Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and the daughter of the late Robin Williams.
Whoopi Goldberg and Ana Navarro had a heated back and forth about whether Americans should panic about Trump or take a break for the holidays.
Viewers were left to read Goldberg’s lips as she expressed her uncensored opinion about Trump’s pick for Defense Secretary.
Ana Navarro suggested that her co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin would “lose credibility” with their audience if she started giving Trump the benefit of the doubt.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis wanted in on the action after Goldberg sparked a feud with a Staten Island bakery.
She seemed to embarrass her co-hosts by laying the show’s “messy” opening at the president-elect’s feet.
“Whoopi can’t put the blame on Holtermann‘s, or politics, it was really just a broken boiler and a long-planned and overdue upgrade,” said the plumber who fixed the bakery’s faulty equipment.
