YOU’RE FIRED!

Now that Donald Trump is officially the Republican presidential nominee, Chelsea Handler decided to assemble a group of famous people who were either fired by the candidate or chose to straight-up quit on his Celebrity Apprentice reality show. And the most famous of all is Khloé Kardashian.

“I didn’t care to do Celebrity Apprentice,” Kardashian told Handler in a new segment that will be part of Wednesday’s Chelsea on Netflix. She explained that it was her mother, Kris Jenner, who pressured her into doing it, presumably as a way to increase her growing fame. “It wasn’t for me,” she said. “But my mom made me do it, so I did it and I hated every minute of it.”

As someone who was home-schooled, Kardashian said, “I don’t know how to do a PowerPoint, I don’t care. What is that going to prove in my life? So I was just stressing myself out, dealing with him and then about to be fired, I was like, ‘Fuck you! I don’t want to do this.’” She then confirmed to Handler that she does not think Trump will make a good president.

Kardashian was fired by Trump during the show’s eighth season in 2009, not for any specific mistakes she made while on the show, but because the host found out she was arrested on a DUI charge two years earlier. “I hate people who drive under the influence,” Trump told her during the boardroom ceremony. “I know three families who lost children to drunken driving.”

Also on Handler’s panel this week were fellow reality stars NeNe Leakes and Clay Aiken along with an almost unrecognizable Lisa Lampanelli, who says she has lost 107 pounds since appearing on the show just four years ago.

“Trump is effing crazy, because in that boardroom he will say some crazy stuff to the women,” the comedian said. Doing her Trump impression, Lampanelli described how Trump would tell every woman except her how “beautiful” they looked. “I am a woman, I don’t have a penis yet,” she joked.

Aiken, who ran for Congress as a Democrat and lost last cycle, said he thinks Trump will “probably” win in November. “That’s frightening to me,” he said. “I don’t want him to win and I will certainly vote for Hillary and encourage everyone to. But this is a change year.”

Later, when Handler brought up Ivanka Trump’s unwavering support for her father, Aiken said, “I understand supporting your family, I get that, but the stakes are higher here. For her to support her father, knowing that he’s said he’s going to put people on the Supreme Court like Antonin Scalia, who would overturn Roe v. Wade, that’s a big deal. You can’t stand by while your father turns the Supreme Court around and screws women for the next 50 years.”

Finally, Handler asked Kardashian what she would do if her mother decided to run for president. As much as she loves her mother, she said, “I just don’t know if we’re ready for the White House.”

If only Trump’s kids felt the same way.
