New clashes in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, have left at least three demonstrators dead. Two died from bullet wounds, and a third from a fall from the top of a football stadium. The new violence began when police used tear gas to take down an opposition camp, which had been organized in defiance of harsh new laws banning protests. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov denied the police used guns during the clash.
