North Korean leader Kim Jong Un crossed the demilitarized zone into South Korea on Friday morning alongside South Korean President Moon Jae-in. It’s the first meeting between leaders of the two countries in more than 10 years, and it’s the first time a North Korean leader has set foot in South Korea since the end of the Korean War. U.S. President Donald Trump is set to meet with Kim in the coming months in an effort to de-nuclearize the Korean Peninsula.
