Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers was named the Cy Young award winner of the National League, and Corey Kluber of the Cleveland Indians was named the American League winner on Wednesday. The win marks Kershaw's third Cy Young, making him one of only nine pitchers in all of baseball to earn the honor at least three times. He received all 30 first-place votes submitted by members of the Baseball Writers Assn. of America. Kluber's American League win was much tighter. His 17 first-place votes edged out the 13 for Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners.
