Jared Kushner will transfer the ownership of his website The Observer into a family trust while he takes on a special advisory role under his father-in-law at the White House. The Observer, a publication Kushner purchased in 2006, will be sold into a family trust along with some of Kushner's other assets, his lawyers told CNN. Kushner's brother Joshua is expected to purchase some of the trust, while Joseph Meyer, the Observer's current chairman and CEO will take on Kushner's role as publisher. The move would keep some of the publication under the Kushner family name, while relieving Kushner of some of the conflicts of interest said to impede his work as a White House advisor.
