An interesting side note from the ongoing circus that is the Trump White House vs. Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL): Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump claims to have read a transcript of the president’s call to a Gold Star widow—a transcript the White House itself said doesn’t exist. On Friday morning, Lara Trump defended the president from Wilson’s claim that the call was “insensitive,” confirming to Fox News that she read the “transcript,” adding that having “read exactly what he said,” she believes the media has distorted the call. Later in the day, however, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters: “There’s not a transcript of the call.”
