Larry Nassar—the disgraced former team physician convicted of sexually abusing young female gymnasts—has been forced to move from a federal prison after an alleged physical assault. Nassar, 55, is serving an effective life sentence for his sexual abuse and is also serving a 60-year sentence for a federal child-pornography conviction. The abuser is being held at a federal transfer facility in Oklahoma City after being removed from a penitentiary in Tucson, Arizona—it’s unclear where he will be sent. Nassar’s lawyers said in a legal filing last month that the former Olympic doctor was assaulted soon after being released into the general population at the Tucson prison.
