Elon Musk decided to use a joint interview with President Donald Trump to pantomime people with “Trump derangement syndrome,” a supposed condition Musk likened to being injected with “methamphetamine and rabies.”

Musk joined the president for a sit-down with Fox News host Sean Hannity to be aired Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. Fox had already released a preview clip at the weekend showing Trump rejecting suggestions he had ceded control of the presidency to the billionaire DOGE chief.

The latest clip shows Musk laughing off criticism from the left before launching into a bizarre impersonation of somebody with what he called “Trump derangement syndrome.”

Reaching into his shallow lexicon of MAGA slurs, Hannity enticed Musk with chatter about “liberals,” saying that one would think that they would “love the fact that you have the biggest electric vehicle company in the world.”

“I used to be adored by the left, less so these days,” replied Musk, pointing his finger at the president and prompting a laugh-filled backslapping session over how Trump “killed that.”

Musk then launched into a tirade about so-called Trump derangement syndrome, a make-believe condition used by MAGA loyalists to undermine any criticism of the president.

“This whole sort of, like, you know, it’s they call it like Trump derangement syndrome,” Musk spluttered.

“And, you know, you don’t realize how real this is until like, it’s... you can’t reason with people.”

He then recalled a friend’s birthday dinner where he said he was castigated for merely mentioning the president. “So, like, I was at a friend’s birthday party in L.A., just a birthday dinner, and it was like a nice, quiet dinner and everyone was behaving normally.”

“And I happened to mention, this is before the election, like a month or two before. I mentioned the president’s name. And it was like they got shot with a dart in the jugular that contained, like, methamphetamine and rabies!” he said, gesticulating and impersonating someone who, presumably, had been hit by a methamphetamine and rabies-filled dart.

Trump, weirdly, laughed and looked dead ahead at Hannity, instead of turning to Musk during his bizarre piece of acting.

“OK. And they’re like, ‘Wow.’ And I’m like, ‘What is wrong, guys? Like, you can’t have, like, a normal conversation?' Yeah. And it’s like they have become completely irrational,” Musk added.
