Leah Remini Files Missing Person Report

Just one month after publicly quitting Scientology, Leah Remini has filed a missing person report for Shelly Miscavige, the wife of the religion’s controversial leader, David Miscavige. Remini’s concern began in 2006, when she questioned a Scientology spokesman at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s wedding (where David was Cruise’s best man) about why the religious leader had attended without his wife. “You don’t fucking rank to ask about Shelly,” the spokesman said, according to Remini. While Scientology officials insist she’s “working for the church,” an expert on the religion’s dark inner workings claims that Shelly hasn’t been seen since 2005—when she was sent to a “secret compound” in the Hollywood Hills.
