Donald Trump has lashed out at the leak of a list of questions that special counsel Robert Mueller reportedly wants to ask him as part of his probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election campaign. The New York Times obtained a list of at around 50 questions that Mueller wants to probe him about in an expected interview, including queries about contact between his former election campaign manager Paul Manafort and Russia. More than half of the questions relate to potential obstruction of justice, and nearly a dozen involve collusion allegations. Tweeting Tuesday morning, Trump said: “So disgraceful that the questions concerning the Russian Witch Hunt were ‘leaked’ to the media. No questions on Collusion. Oh, I see... you have a made up, phony crime, Collusion, that never existed, and an investigation begun with illegally leaked classified information. Nice!” The Daily Beast previously reported Trump’s interview negotiations with Mueller were continuing, despite reports they had stalled after the FBI searches of Trump fixer Michael Cohen’s office and hotel room.
