Iconic singer and songwriter Leonard Cohen passed away at the age of 82 last week and at the time no cause was given. But on Wednesday, his manager, Robert B. Kory, said that the singer fell in the middle of the night which led to the death. âLeonard Cohen died during his sleep following a fall in the middle of the night on Nov. 7,â Kory said in a statement. âThe death was sudden, unexpected and peaceful.â In the final months before his passing, Cohen was finishing his final album and working on two other musical projects and a book of poetry.
