Daily Beast columnist Wajahat Ali’s memoir Go Back to Where You Came From: And Other Helpful Recommendations on How to Become American is being celebrated by Symphony Space and the Asian American Writers’ Workshop at a special Jan. 25 event. Ali will emcee a night of storytelling, comedy, and music focused on the American immigrant experience and featuring musician Zeshan B, former federal prosecutor Preet Bharara, writers Cathy Park Hong and Min Jin Lee, comedian and actress Aparna Nancherla and others.
