LSU’s Joe Burrow Wins Heisman Trophy

Joe Burrow rode the bench for much of the first three seasons of his college football career—then transferred from Ohio State to Louisiana State University. On Saturday night, the LSU quarterback won the Heisman Trophy. Burrow, the son of a former NFL player and college coach, was the front-runner for the honor, and he got 841 out of 885 first-place votes, Sports Illustrated reported. It caps an undefeated season in which he racked up 48 touchdowns.
