Lufthansa Strike Grounds 100,000 People

A strike by Lufthansa flight attendants will affect as many as 100,000 passengers Wednesday, the AP reports. More than 300,000 passengers have been affected since the strike began. A flight attendants’ union is seeking transition payments for nearly 20,000 members if they retire early.
