Despite housing downturns in the past few years, student-living construction has remained strong as college enrollment rises. And more apartments being built means more luxury options being offered. The "clubhouse" with the tanning salon and bar is near the University of Missouri, but luxury student housing is also being constructed near other schools all around the country. Administrators say that the buildings will detract from student life. With an in-building restaurant, how will these kids ever learn the joy of microwave ramen?
