Billionaire Jeff Bezos arrived hand-in-hand with fiancée Lauren Sánchez to President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday. Yet it was Sánchez’s choice of outfit that immediately stole the show as some MAGA commentators blasted that she “forgot to put a shirt on.”
Sánchez—seated with Bezos among other tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, who have all shown new-found fealty to Trump in preparation for his next administration—stood out by wearing a white suit and a lace corset top.
Online, her choice was rebuked as being in poor taste for the occasion.
“Bezo’s fiancée Lauren Sanchez forgot to put a shirt on for the inauguration this morning,” wrote one social media commentator.
Another commentator going by ‘Madame Trumpie’ added, “Tacky. Money can’t buy class or taste.”
Another piled on with, “Maybe she can get one from Amazon same day shipping.”
“Royal watcher” Brittany Gardoury also slammed Sánchez, writing: “Jeff Bezos future wife Lauren Sanchez is incredibly inappropriately dressed for a state occasion. Someone should have told her that having her white lace bra out on display is not acceptable.”
Zuckerberg also seemed to catch a glance at Sánchez’s chest.
“BREAKING: The male chip has been implanted into Mark Zuckerberg successfully,” wrote one commentator about the viral clip.
Jetting around the world with Bezos to exclusive parties and red carpets, Sánchez’s corsets and skin-baring lace have been a staple in her wardrobe.
She chose a corset for last year’s Met Gala, turned heads in head-to-toe lace at the Monse Maison Pre-Met Cocktail Celebration, and chose a red corset and lace combo dress for the White House state dinner in April. On all occasions, Bezos didn’t seem to mind.Yet according to MAGA commentators, Sánchez is entering a different world now.
“WTF is Bezos’ girlfriend Lauren Sanchez doing there when TRUE PATRIOTS couldn’t get a seat?” wrote commentator Debra Lee on X. “And no one’s wives were allowed to attend?”
