Jimmy Kimmel sparked MAGA outrage after he made a joke about Teslas being vandalized on Tuesday night.
During the talk segment of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host addressed the recent wave of attacks on Tesla dealerships nationwide.
Looking directly into the camera, he sarcastically pleaded, âPlease donât vandalize. Donât ever vandalize Tesla vehicles.â
Kimmel paused for effect, letting the sarcasm sink in before moving onto his next bit as the audience laughed.

The MAGA world, however, wasnât amused, frantically circulating the clip as supposed proof of the left inciting domestic terrorism.
âRooting for failure of a great American company and the wink wink encouragement of domestic terrorism is a new low. Disgusting,â one X user commented under the clip.
Another fumed, âIâll never forget that @jimmykimmel encouraged violence against Tesla.â
Tesla CEO Elon Musk apparently felt hurt too, commenting, âWhat a jerk.â
Tesla showrooms, charging stations, and cars have been vandalized in apparent revolt against the billionaireâs mass firings and cuts to federal programs, which U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has branded as ânothing short of domestic terrorism.â
Tesla owners in the U.S. and abroad are also selling their cars in protest. Kimmel noted that Tesla stock was âway down,â during the segment, referencing its 40 percent drop since January.
Musk claimed he was being targeted by an anti-DOGE conspiracy in an interview with Fox Newsâ Sean Hannity on Tuesday.
âThey basically want to kill me because Iâm stopping their fraud, and they want to hurt Tesla because weâre stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government. And, well, I guess theyâre bad people. Bad people do bad things.â
Earlier this month, President Donald Trump tried to help out his buddyâs company by partaking in a bizarre Tesla-buying stunt at the White House, slipping into the role of car salesman.
