A man swiped a 4-foot python from a Michigan pet store on March 20 with a bold strategy: shoving it down his pants. Video posted on Facebook by an employee at the I Love My Pets store in Rockwood earlier this week shows a young man in blue jeans scooping up the adult ball python—whose name is Pasta—and placing it down his pants, before nervously pacing the store and touching his legs. Pasta, who is nonvenomous, had reportedly been adopted by another customer, and was scheduled to be taken home later in the day. His kidnapping has left I Love My Pets employees distraught: “We just want him back,” one employee told Fox2, “we don’t care about the money.”
