In preparation for his long-awaited showdown with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas next month, Manny Pacquiao has set out to challenge his rival’s marketing prowess as much as his ability to punch people in the face.

While Mayweather usually concentrates on ballooning his Pay-Per-View profits and gimmicks like having the Biebs carry his championship belt into the ring, Pacquiao has gone a different route: he has recorded his own walkout song, and made a music video for it that he released today.

Titled “Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino”–roughly, “I Fight For the Filipino People”–and directed by the Pac-Man himself, it shows a number of Filipino people raising one hand in the air, the devastation wrought by the typhoon that hit the country last year, and Pacquiao’s formidable pipes.

Whatever he’s saying, it seems inspiring.
