Martial-arts actor Jim Kelly died this weekend of cancer at age 67. Kelly, who was discovered while working as a martial-arts instructor in L.A., is best known for his short but memorable appearance in Bruce Lee’s 1973 film, Enter the Dragon. After roundhouse kicking and wisecracking his way through the ’70s, Kelly went on to become a professional tennis player—but always had a place in his heart for film. “I never left the movie business,” he said in a 2010 interview with the Los Angeles Times. “It’s just that after a certain point, I didn’t get the type of projects that I wanted to do.”
