Martin Shkreli’s Ex-Lawyer Convicted in Fraud Scheme

Martin Shkreli’s former lawyer was convicted in Brooklyn on Wednesday of helping the notorious pharmacy executive defraud investors. Evan Greebel, who advised Shkreli’s former company Retrophin, was convicted of helping Shkreli commit wire and securities fraud, in a scheme to steal millions from Retrophin. Shkreli, who gained infamy for massively inflating drug prices, was convicted of his own role in the scheme earlier this year. Shkreli is currently in jail awaiting sentencing.
