Marvel Star Convicted of Assault Secretly Marries Actress

MOVING ON

The pair announced they were engaged just four months ago.

Jonathan Majors and actress Meagan Good secretly married on Tuesday, the actor confirmed during his daytime appearance on Sherri. They had a “small private wedding” during which Majors’ mother, a pastor, officiated the wedding. Good, 43, and Majors, 45, announced their engagement in November, less than a year after he was convicted of third-degree reckless assault and harassment of his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The news of the pair’s secret nuptials comes just after Rolling Stone released a leaked phone call between Jabbari and Majors, in which he allegedly admits to “strangling” her during a separate incident from the one for which he was convicted. Good publicly supported Majors throughout the highly publicized trial over Majors’ assault of Jabbari, and at one point revealed that “every friend” advised her not to date the actor, who’s been accused of having a “pattern of abuse” by multiple women. Despite the blow to his reputation, Majors has since embarked on an industry comeback with his first major film since the conviction, Magazine Dreams, premiering later this month following positive reviews at Sundance.
