Mary Weiss, lead singer of the 1960s girl group the Shangri-Las, has died at the age of 75, according to Variety. The group was together for just a few years but soared up the charts with hits like “Leader of the Pack,” “Remember (Walking in the Sand),” and “Great Big Kiss.” No cause of death was provided for Weiss, who put out a solo act in 2007.
