Matthew Perry’s Ex Casts Doubt on His Ketamine Death
‘NEVER, EVER’
An ex-girlfriend of Friends star Matthew Perry said the actor feared a particular drug taking method above all others. Kayti Edwards, who dated the actor in 2006 before becoming his assistant in 2011, said Perry vowed that he would “never, ever, use needles or inject anything into his body” in an interview with The Mirror published Friday. Edwards called Perry’s death after a ketamine shot “weird” because of this. “He didn’t even want to have tattoos,” she said, adding that she would “see him very high and using lots of different drugs.” According to her, she told the actor numerous times that he was “gonna die” if he kept using. “But he was like, ‘You only die when you use needles… and I would never, ever, ever do that,’” she said.
