Meghan McCain announced Friday that she will be leaving her role as a contributor at Fox News. The eldest daughter of Sen. John McCain was a co-host on Outnumbered. In July, her father was diagnosed with brain cancer. “I’m so thankful to Fox News for the chance to be on Outnumbered, but I’m leaving to focus on other things,” McCain said in a statement. “I have no doubt the show will continue to do well and wish all my friends and colleagues at the network nothing but success.” The outlet echoed the positive sentiment in its own statement, noting that, “We’re sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best.”
