Hmmmm. In response to a Slate article discussing a potential makeover for Santa to be more diversity-friendly, Fox News host Megyn Kelly, while sympathetic to the argument by the author, reassured children everywhere when she said, "For all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white...Santa is what he is, and just so you know, we're just debating this because someone wrote about it, kids." Later in the segment, Kelly also might have shocked some historians when she declared that Jesus, too, was white (which is not exactly agreed upon). "But just because it makes you feel uncomfortable, doesn't mean it has to change. Jesus was a white man too. He was a historical figure, that's a verifiable fact," she declared.
