During a town hall event with Liberty University students that mostly focused on the opioid crisis Wednesday morning, First Lady Melania Trump tried to square her “Be Best” anti-cyberbullying campaign with her husband’s aggressive approach to attacking perceived enemies on Twitter. While the first lady said she is urging young people to be “respectful and kind” on social media, she also added, “Sometimes you need to fight back, I'm sorry.” During the panel discussion, which was moderated by disgraced Fox News host Eric Bolling, Melania Trump also defended the controversial red Christmas trees she recently put up in the White House. “We are in 21st century and everybody has different taste. I think they look fantastic,” she said to cheers from the audience. “I hope everybody will come over and visit it. In real life, they look even more beautiful and you are all very welcome to visit the White House, the People’s House.”
