The New York Mets took a commanding lead Sunday against the Chicago Cubs in the National League Championship Series with a 4-1 victory in Game 2. New York’s Daniel Murphy hit a homer in the first inning after Curtis Granderson singled and David Wright scored him with a double over center fielder Dexter Fowler’s head. The Mets added a fourth run in the third on an infield RBI single by Yoenis Cespedes, allowing Granderson to score. The Cubs’ Fowler scored off of Kris Bryant’s double off the left-field wall with two outs in the sixth. The two teams meet up again Tuesday for Game 3 in the best-of-seven-series in Chicago.
