A 5-point lead with 28 seconds left doesn’t mean anything. That’s what the San Antonio Spurs discovered after failing to hold on against the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Spurs, one win and a few possessions away from clinching the championship, blew a fourth-quarter lead, couldn’t contain LeBron James, and failed to stop a 3-pointer by Ray Allen in the final seconds of regulation. The game wasn’t without controversy, though. Down 1 with a few seconds left, the Spurs’ Manu Ginóbili was seemingly mugged while driving to the basket. There was no call. Game 7 is Thursday night in Miami.
