One of Michael Avenatti’s former law partners is suing the prominent attorney, according to TMZ. Jason Frank alleges that Avenatti, who is representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuits against President Donald Trump and his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen, refused to turn over their firm’s tax returns that Frank said he needed in order to figure out his cut after striking a deal to leave the company. TMZ reports that the two parties settled in arbitration for $4.85 million, and Avenatti’s firm allegedly did give Frank the first $2 million payment. “Jason Frank is trying to get attention for himself. His allegations are baseless and fraudulent,” Avenatti told TMZ.
