Michael Douglas and his ex-wife, Diandra Douglas, have sent an email to high-profile friends asking for help with their son, Cameron, who has been held in solitary confinement for over a year. Cameron, 25, was sent to prison for five years in prison in 2010, but that sentence nearly doubled in 2011 when he was caught dealing drugs there. He was put in solitary in January, when he tested positive for drugs, and he reportedly had his leg broken by another inmate. “We have not seen our son for over a year, and the government is telling us we cannot see our son for TWO YEARS,” Diandra Douglas wrote in the email, which was addressed to Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Yoko Ono, and others. She asked friends to sign and forward a petition from Change.org for Cameron’s release.
