Michelle Obama’s memoir, Becoming, has sold over 1.4 million copies since it hit shelves last week, the Associated Press reports. The book’s publisher said the total included print and digital sales from U.S. and Canada. The book reportedly sold 725,000 copies on its first day, making it one of the biggest book debuts of the year. The publisher told the AP it has printed 3 million hardcover copies for future sales in North America based on current demand. The former first lady’s memoir is also been a hit internationally, as it is currently the top adult nonfiction title in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Holland, Spain, Denmark and Finland.
