Microsoft will begin warning its Outlook email users of suspected government hacking. Users will be alerted when the software maker suspects that a government is trying to access their accounts. The new policy comes after a Reuters report found that the company declined to tell users about a hacking campaign by Chinese authorities discovered in 2011. Microsoft has maintained the sources of the hacking couldn’t be pinpointed.
