Mike Tyson said he is “feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul,” in a post on his X account on Tuesday following a medical emergency aboard a plane on Sunday. Tyson started feeling “nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing,” according to an interview with Tyson’s rep and In Touch Weekly. Passengers were asked over the loudspeaker 30 minutes prior to landing whether there were any medical staff on-board, and the plane was delayed for 25 minutes upon landing while medical personnel helped Tyson. He is expected to fight Boxer Jake Paul on July 20. One X user commented on Tyson’s post, “Mr. Tyson, please take care of yourself. There are people who look up to you with gratitude and fondness. Whether you fight or not, you will always be a champion on so many levels.”
