This is a game changer. Us Weekly reports that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has installed a $55,000 car elevator in his home—the same elevator Britney Spears had! The pop singer had the Phantom Park car elevator in her Calabasas, Calif., rental, while Mitt purchased one for his $12 million La Jolla, Calif., abode. The lift, the elevator’s website notes, is a “dream for auto aficionados” who have a “hands-on relationship with their machines.” Whether a president—or just another politician—will use the elevator in November remains to be seen.
