An estimated 9 people are dead and at least 50 more injured as tornadoes and floods continue to batter the storm-ravaged state of Oklahoma. Several tornados struck Friday evening, knocking over cars in the middle of rush hour traffic and leaving drivers stranded on the highway. With the tornados came rain and hail, flooding Oklahoma City under four feet of water with flash flooding expected to continue throughout the state. Among those killed were a mother and child whose car rolled over on the state’s I-40 interstate highway.
