MrBeast’s big upcoming reality show competition Beast Games is turning out to be a bust for some competitors. The Associated Press reported that preliminary participants have hit the YouTube star with complaints over the production conditions of the competition, with some claiming to have not had access to food, water, and medication during filming at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Some participants have also said they were injured during production. A spokesperson for MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, said that they are reviewing feedback ahead of the next phase of the competition’s production in Toronto, AP reported. Donaldson and Amazon MGM studios announced Beast Games in March, which will feature more than 1,000 participants competing for a $5 million grand prize. During the intake process for the show, The New York Times reported that some contestants were asked if they were willing to be buried alive, travel to outer space, or be thrown overboard as part of the competition.
