Special counsel Robert Mueller on Monday filed at least 12 federal charges against former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort and his business associate Rick Gates. Along with several laundering charges, the pair were hit with a fraud-related charge of “conspiracy against the United States.” The pair pleaded not-guilty in federal court several hours later.
