Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report is over 300 pages long, the Justice Department said Thursday. The length, equivalent to the size of Kenneth Starr’s report on President Bill Clinton, suggests detailed information on what Mueller’s 22-month investigation found regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election, the Trump campaign’s links to the plot, and President Trump’s alleged efforts to obstruct justice. (DOJ rules only require a special counsel report decisions to prosecute or not at the conclusion of an investigation.) Attorney General William Barr received the report on Friday and said he is reviewing it before sharing a version with Congress, possibly without grand jury or classified information. Democrats said they’ll accept nothing less than the full report and the underlying evidence. Barr summarized the report’s principal conclusions in a four-page letter sent to Congress on Sunday.
