Following last week's deadly attacks on a cafe and synagogue in Denmark, a group of Norwegian Muslims is planning a unity demonstration at an Oslo synagogue on Saturday, The Local reported. The demonstrators are aiming to make a statement that Muslims do not support anti-Semitism by forming a "peace ring" around the synagogue, according to event organizer Hajrad Arshad. "We think after the terrorist attacks in Copenhagen, it is the perfect time for us Muslims to distance ourselves from the harassment of the Jews that is happening," Arshad said.
