The NAACP filed a federal class action lawsuit Wednesday over the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, alleging incompetency on the part of government officials. "The people of Flint have been harmed through the failure of state officials to provide professional and accountable basic services mandated by federal law and expected by any person living in a major city," NAACP CEO Cornell William Brooks said. The lawsuit names Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and six former officials from the state's Department of Environmental Quality.
