Nevada State Police launched a mountain search Monday for a couple and four children who disappeared in sub-zero temperatures. The couple and the kids had apparently gone out to play in the snow. James Glanton, 34, and his girlfriend, Christina McIntee, 24, took a 10-year-old, two 4-year-olds, and a 3-year-old out in their Jeep in the Seven Troughs area on Monday. It’s unclear what the relationship is between the couple and the kids. “I’m hoping they all huddled together and stayed in the Jeep,” Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen said Monday. The Seven Troughs area is named for the seven parallel canyons in the area, but police said the black Jeep should be easy to spot in the snow. The area has spotty cellphone reception.
