Nevada's GOP has finally given in to New Hampshire in the fight for a crucial caucus in January. After a week of intense pressure from the Republican National Committee, presidential campaigns, and New Hampshire's political circle, Nevada's GOP voted on Saturday to push back its caucus from Jan. 14 to Feb. 4. âWe want to make sure that Nevadaâs voice is strong,â said Nevada GOP chairwoman Amy Tarkanian. âWe donât need to be New Hampshireâs piñata." New Hampshire is now expected to announce its first-in-the-nation primary for Jan. 10, though Secretary of State Bill Gardener's office said he won't make the announcement before Monday.
