New allegations of sexual assault by Harvey Weinstein reported Monday in The New York Times expand the timeline of when he committed various misconduct to as far back as the 1970s. Actress Hope Exiner d’Amore said Weinstein raped her in a hotel room in the 1970s, before he was a Hollywood producer; and Cynthia Burr also alleged that in the same decade, he assaulted her in a horrific incident that ended with forced oral sex in a hallway. Additionally, dancer Ashley Matthau, who played a small role in Weinstein-produced Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, alleged that in 2004, he shoved her onto a bed and masturbated on top of her. She threatened legal action and he paid her to keep quiet, she revealed. A young woman named Lacey Dorn recalled how, after meeting Weinstein in 2011 at a party, he groped her as she said goodbye.
