Reuters published several new grisly photos of the aftermath of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. The gruesome photographs show three unidentified dead men in the Abbottabad compound covered in blood. There are also images of the downed U.S. helicopter referenced in official White House accounts of the raid. Reuters said the photos were taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound Monday morning after the raid, and the time stamps indicate that he took the shots only an hour after the U.S. stormed the mansion. The official, who wished to remain anonymous, sold the photos, and Reuters is confident that they are authentic.
