In response to Ted Cruz’s comments this week that “Donald [Trump] comes from New York and he embodies New York values,” the New York Daily News has a message for the Texas senator: “Drop dead.” The newspaper’s Friday cover features the Statue of Liberty giving the middle finger, headlined, “Drop Dead, Ted,” and the caption: “Hey, Cruz: You don’t like N.Y. values? Go back to Canada!”
